Sharknado Slot Review
With box office hits like Superman, Titanic and Gladiator turning into slots it’s perhaps inevitable that a few modern day B-movies make the transition too. The people who sat down and thought putting Sharks and Tornados together for a horror film are nothing short of genius. You’ve probably all heard of Sharknado the Movie – well now you can play it as a slot. Sharknado is a 5 reel 25 payline slot from Pariplay. It’s available to play at most Dragonfish brands.
How To Play Sharknado
You can choose to play from 25p a line up to a maximum of £12.50. At first the game looks a little basic! The icons are stars of the film including American Pie’s Tara Reid. However once you start playing then Sharknado comes to life. The reels are set on a pier/seaside backdrop and you’ll occasionally see sharks in the background. Gameplay is accompanied with dramatic music, presumably from the film, but during the reel spins the sound is replaced by an annoying low level droning noise. It’s unpleasant to hear continuously and we suggest either turning the sound off or down.
Sharknado slots boasts three main features: Fin’s Random Wilds when a helicopter will drop a bomb on to the reels. If the bomb is caught by a shark then there’s no benefit, but if the bomb explodes then you get random wilds. The Sharknado Mode Mini Bonus Game can come in to play any time and offers free spins whilst there are more free spins with the Chainsaw bonus round. The latter we found to be incredibly elusive! The Random Wilds and Mini Bonus Game were a little more active, with the former popping up every ten spins or so. That said most of the time you didn’t get the random wilds.
The Spin On Sharknado
Aside from the reel spinning sounds, this is a fun game. It’s not a blockbuster slot in the style of other movie slots, but then Sharknado is not a blockbuster movie either. It’s fun, it’s total nonsense and it’s utterly compelling. We’d have liked to have seen the Chainsaw Bonus round pop up at least once just but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Give it a try – we think you’ll like it!
