Guns N Roses Slot Review
Any slot that kicks off with Welcome To The Jungle must surely be at the top of any rock lovers list of games to play? We were initially sceptical about the Guns N’ Roses slot from Net Entertainment but within a few spins were totally blown away. Don’t get us wrong it’s not earth shattering in slot game terms, it just features one of the world’s greatest bands and some of their greatest hits – and you can choose which track to play as you play.
How To Play Guns N Roses Slots
Guns N’ Roses slots is a 5 reel slot with 20 paylines. It features images of the band members, including Axl Rose and Slash, at the height of their fame as well as album covers such as Appetite For Destruction and Lies. At the start of the game you can choose the soundtrack from a playlist that includes Paradise City, Welcome To The Jungle, November Rain, Sweet Child O’ Mine and Chinese Democracy. Beyond that we really didn’t care whether the game was great or not but the good news it’s not that bad.
Wagering on the slot starts at 20p but this can be increased up to £20 (Star Spins) by adjusting the levels and coin size. There is no autoplay feature but you can speed up the spins by clicking the spanner symbol that’s hidden down to the left of the slot. The top paying symbols are Axl Rose (x750) and Slash (x500) for five of a kind. The low paying symbols consist of the playing cards but they’ve been given the GnR treatment.
This slot is feature rich and includes wilds, Legend Spins, Solo Multiplier and a Crowd Pleaser Bonus Game. A number of these just crop up at random – the wilds for example have a life of their own – and quite often you’re not sure what is happening, but it does often result in some decent wins. Get three bonus wheels anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5 to activate the bonus round. Stop the wheel to determine whether you win Encore Free Spins, The Crowd Please Bonus or Coin Wins.
The Crowd Please game is a pick and click game with three different levels. Pick symbols to try and earn coins and progress to the next level. The further you move up the levels the bigger the prize. On Level 3 it is possible to double the total win for the feature provided 800 coins have been awarded. If this occurs then the win will be doubled.
Perhaps without the music options this would be a run of the mill slot, but it the look, feel and game play are enhanced with some decent tunes. Of course if you’re not a GNR fan then you’ll probably hate it. However either way we recommend this slot – it’s nice to have something to spin that doesn’t feature animals or fruit. Guns N’ Roses from Net Entertainment is available to play at most online casinos including Jumpman Network sites.
