Slot Crazy joined the then Ignite Gaming Group portfolio headed up by Costa Bingo (now owned by 888) way back in 2015. It was the second non-bingo site launched by the group and followed in the footsteps of Costa Games on to the Dragonfish Slots Network. Unsurprisingly there are a lot of similarities between Slot Crazy and Costa Games – as well other group additions such as Fantastic Spins. Visitors to the site are welcomed with a no deposit bonus plus have access to many popular games including Slingo, Megaways, Daily Jackpots and Scratchcards.

Slot Crazy Review

Free Spins

New players to Spin Crazy are offered 10 free spins with no deposit needed. The free spins are available for Irish Luck and there’s a guaranteed win of between 10p and £5. Note that the wagering term for this bonus money is x80 which is pretty hefty! Should you choose to deposit then there’s a 100% bonus (min deposit £10, maximum bonus £100) available plus a further 100 free bonus spins – these are split up and offered to you in the shape of 10 free spins every 3 days for 27 days. That’s one way to make sure you return! A maximum win of £10 games bonus and a minimum win of 10p games bonus applies to each set of 10 bonus spins.

The bonuses don’t end on the first deposit. Enter code TWO for a second deposit bonus of 100% and enter code THREE for a third deposit bonus of 50%. The wagering terms are a little more pleasant at just x20 (deposit + bonus)! If you need more of a bonus then reload your account on a Friday and enter the code SLOTS to get an extra bit of cash to play with.

Progressive Jackpots

Slots wise, Slot Crazy is pretty much as you’d expect. It has a nice array of games and amongst the top slots are Fruit Spin, Dr Jekyll Goes Wild, Big Money Slingo, Jack In The Box, Moji Money, Temple Of Ausar, Wolf Gold, Dragon Kingdom, Booster, Twin Spin Deluxe, Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, Cleopatra, South Park and Amazon Queen. The site also boasts some big progressives including Millionaire Genie, Irish Riches, Wonder Woman and Nightmare On Elm Street. For those players who prefer table games then there’s roulette and keno to enjoy. Live Casino games have recently been added and these help make the site more attractive.

Promotions

Promotions on Slot Crazy have become quite limited since the site was sold to 888. Players can collect a weekend bonus of £25 when they wager on Saturdays and Sundays. This sounds great until you discover that to collect the bonus you need to wager £1000 real cash! Slightly better is the Reel Spins bonus which is available to qualifying players. Make a £20+ deposit and play the game every day for 6 consecutive days. Bonuses and spins are on offer but note wagering terms apply. The site still has a loyalty scheme and if you accumulate enough points then you can convert them to a bonus, spins or withdrawable cash.

The Spins Verdict

When it first launched we said that: as a slots site goes, Slot Crazy is on the money. It offers a good selection of slots, a nice welcome offer and a loyalty programme. It can also be accessed via mobile, desktop and tablet. However there’s not a lot here that’s brand new and that means we’re heading into Dragonfish Bingo territory. What that means is a whole array of sites all offering the same thing. At the moment – at least in our view – not one of Wicked Jackpots, Wink Slots, Costa Games and Total Gold have started to lead the way.

It’s safe to say that Slot Crazy hasn’t taken up the challenge either. In fact since it was acquired by 888 it’s hard to remember anything significantly new to the brand. This doesn’t mean you should ignore it but a site like Wink Slots or 888 Casino may be a better option for your money. The welcome bonus is a good incentive to take a look and we do like the Reel Spins bonus that is available to qualifying depositing players.
