The Cozy Games slots network launched a few years back with the arrival of VIP Club Casino. A host of other brands joined but then the network stalled as Cozy Games underwent a transformation. GVC Holdings took over the company and set about improving the offering and terms for players. For example, many of it’s bingo brands adopted new slot titles from the likes of Net Entertainment. New bingo and slot brands have been at a premium but recently Blimey Slots emerged as the first new site in some time.
Super Slots Giveaway
Although Blimey Slots doesn’t host any exclusives, it does have the many network promotions. This includes the current offering of a £1400 Super Slots Giveaway. This promotion runs between the 24th and 30th September 2018 and there are chances to win daily. The top five players on the leaderboard – each day – will win a share of £200 whilst one additional lucky player will collect 50 spins.
To get involved you need to opt-in and wager on any slots. You will receive 1 point for every £30 wagered. At the end of the day the player with the most points scoops the top prize. Now at this point in proceedings we’re a little confused. This is because according to Blimey Slots the first prize is £70, second is £35 and third £30. This doesn’t total the £200 that is claimed to be being given away.
Win 50 Spins
If the values were correct then that would leave £65 to be shared by players in fourth and fifth. We’re therefore wondering whether it’s £70 for first, £35 for second & third with £30 going to fourth and fifth. One thing we know for sure is that one qualifier each day will be selected to win 50 spins. Note that all the leaderboard pruzes and winnings derived from spins will carry a wagering requirement of x40 on slots before it can be withdrawn.
Whilst it’s great to see Cozy Games promotions for slots players, we are disappointed that there are wagering terms on the prizes. We think that slapping a x40 wagering term on a prize negates the value of the prize and of the promotion. We wonder whether Cozy Games would be better off enticing players with cash prizes? Or perhaps how about a compromise where there’s cash prizes for the top positions and games bonuses or spins for others?
